The Outtake Girl
Not all superpowers are useful. Like the power to fly but only indoors and with your eyes closed, or the power to control a very rare and very beautiful flower by asking it nicely to do things. Interesting powers, perhaps, but not particularly useful.
I wanted to have a short story to give away for Halloween – a scary one – but improper planning and the fact I’ve been nipples-deep in editing a sci-fi book means I don’t have one. Not a new one, anyway.
To make up for it, I’ve posted a quick, 4-page horror ‘short’ script I put together a few weeks ago.
Oh, look! A free thing! 900 words of flash-fiction (not slash-fiction. The difference is vast and notable) which you can read for free. It was just an idea I had in my head that had to get out. I tried to spin it into a longer story, and I might do eventually, but for now this is all I have of it.
